i love reading 'about' pages. it's the first thing i read when i'm checking out a new blog.
i was born in auckland, nz, 1975. moved to the land of white shoes and gold necklaces (gold coast, australia) when i was 13. escaped to uni in brisbane (i thought it was such a big city!), and then on to sydneytown for (unfinished) phd.
somewhere along the way thru sydney i had a baby (king max, 4) and got married. then we upped stakes and moved to switzerland (hence the marriage - bruno is a swissy but CH wouldn't let me stay otherwise). now find myself, bewildered, living just outside zürich, and with another wee grommet added to the family (lola, 1 year). still can't get my tongue around that swissy speak (swiss german) though!
