On Saturday we held an inaugural garage sale, something of a rarity in Switzerland. We might just make it an annual event.
Today was one of those blah days were energy is scarce and motivation non-existent. Maybe it was the gray sky or the bitter wind blowing, but whatever, I found it hard to muster up any enthusiasm today. Highlight of the day was talking to an old friend and his lovely wife (we love skype for sheer visual effect) to plan and scheme some wintery fun when they visit from Oz in December. I so hope they come to stay, we'll have such fun, fondues, snow, mountains, chestnuts and so forth (conveniently forgetting the chapped lips, dry skin, red noses, wet boots, ten trillion layers of clothing and scraping the ice and snow off the car windshield every morning). Here's hoping tomorrow brings more sunniness, of mood and weather both.
It's cold outside!
The Rules
1. Take a picture of yourself right now.
2. Don't change your clothes, don't fix your hair...just take a picture.
3. Post that picture with NO editing.
4. Post these instructions with your picture.

Trying to blog more, and better. Time to implement that old adage, don't put off til tomorrow what you can do today!!!
After ballet today there was much personal grooming to be taken care of.
My mum and dad visited us over the summer, and it was so lovely. They left last Sunday and we miss them so much! We did so many things together over the holidays, things which I haven't blogged about yet cos since they left I've been catching up on all the work stuff I neglected while they were here. I'm only now just sifting through the thousands of photos we took...
