Clouds, Our town

Clouds, Our town, originally uploaded by kitschenette.

Pretty as a picture.
Autumn days are beautiful, especially with the promise of chestnuts, fresh fizzy grape juice, fondue, bitter red chicory, walnuts and pumpkins as we descend into winter.
Loving the clouds at the moment, now that they arent hanging around at house level!

I found your blog through the red kitchen because I was looking for a recipe to make bircher muesli. I visited Switzerland last fall and fell in love with it (and Switzerland). I do enjoy your blog and your photographs - you have a good eye...

Thank you for sharing your daily tidbits!

Wow! This is like a blast from the past! I was also trying to surf up a good recipe for Bircher Muesli -something I fell in love with when I was an expat living in Zurich a few years back. so lovely to see a picture of the lake! A scene all too familiar! :-) It really is like I am reading excerpts from my personal experiences of ZH when I read your blog. I do miss Gruyere, Raclette,Sprungli Luxemburgerli etc.. even the Coop or Migros at time! lol!! Great blog! thx for the recipe! p.s the best bircher muesli I had was at Bethanien Spital of all places, where I gave birth to my baby girl! :-) .. funny place of all places to have had a delish bowl of bircher!
