Toes
Lolly crept into bed with me last night and this morning I couldn't bear to wake her up, she was sleeping so peacefully.
She's got bruno's feet, long and narrow with the second toe as long as the first.

All throughout my English lesson this morning it snowed heavily - this after weeks of gorgeous spring weather. I had to scrape off at least 20 cm of snow from my car before I could pick Lola up from spielgruppe.
Lola used to love having her photo taken, or at least didn't run away screaming when I pointed the camera at her. Now, I'm lucky if I can snap off a shot before she flees the scene.
I like the directness of her look here, although I have to resist the urge to brush the hair away from her eyes.
With a mouthful of yoghurt, looking somehow grown-up.
I found this great mirror on the side of the road a couple of weeks ago. It's very heavy and pretty old, from 1967. I love how it opens up our living room, even though most of the reflection is of the (admittedly quite old and beautiful) house across the road. However, there is also a small reflection of the mountains, which I cherish when sitting at the table drinking my coffee in the sunlight.
It's been an age since I last posted, and why? Just got out of the habit I spose.
So what's been happening? A quick round-up:
This afternoon the kids and I are off to Zürich in search of a blue Power Ranger (Max's latest obsession) and some swimming toys (sticks and things to dive for) as both Lola and Max now have lessons on Monday afternoons. I can't say I enjoy Mondays!
Have a nice weekend.
More fierceness from the boys in the (our) hood.
I love this picture of our dear Ms Fabelhaft.
Feeding the ducks, seagulls, swans and geese this afternoon at the lake.
Sunny, but cold.
I love the snow capped mountains in the background.
Best friends.
