Oh - you have made me hungry - I remember that chicken dish fondly! I will try it for dinner soon.

And I enjoyed the Susan Loomis book also - Perhaps a re read over the holidays is in order.

Ciao

Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum, I remember blue cheese, pre-pregnancy. Only 7 more weeks and I get to eat it again! You made me very envious, sounds absolutely delicious, Cherie. I had a similar dish in Italy once, with gorgonzola and veg on soft polenta...
PS did you vote? For my cousin I hope?

Blue cheese is one of my favorite cheese, I usually use with pears...but, this salad makes my mouth watering.Perfect combination of textures and flavours

Both of these dishes sound wonderful! I'm a sucker for bacon with just about anything, and your lovely salad reminds me of an endive salad with blue cheese and walnuts that I make.

If you are still craving blue cheese and walnuts - I can give you a French recipe for a roquefort, walnut and pear cake.

I understand, I love blue cheese I could eat it every day.

We have so many left over walnuts from the holidays and are looking for recipes to use them in. Thanks for this recipe and this lovely salad with our favorite blue cheese will work just fine. Thank you.
