I am INSANELY jealous. Here in Maine, the strawberry season is a bit behind schedule. It will be a week or two before I can go out to pick berries. There is nothing better this time of year -- the farm we go to looks out over a lake. Kevin and I pick berries in the sunshine, sample a few (OK, a lot!) and listen to the loons call from the lake. Last year was my first attempt at jam. It didn't jam. I will be anxious to read about your jam-making adventure!
