This 50's enamelled green cast iron pot is one of my favourites. I got it at the brocki ages ago and I love how it is a little pre-loved and worn.

I may have the same pot, in a sunny yellow color. My mother made soup in it when I was growing up and I recently begged to have it for myself. Mine too is chipped and well worn--and much smaller than I remember from childhood, it seemed like a bottomless vat back then--but I love it in a quite unnatural way. It makes me happy.
