A tiny, stinky knob of white truffle, bought with our last few remaining Croatian Kunas. Truffle pasta for dinner tonight, then!
(For the last week I've been travelling through Croatia with the family - see my other blog for updates)

I saw a patient yesterday who spends a lot of time in Croatia. He says the beaches are beautiful. Now I want to go.
I am yet to try truffles. I know that in Australia it is starting to become a bit of an industry with plantations coming up in most states. At least this will make it more widely available in this country.
I am definitely going to put it on my list of things to try.
I'm hoping to get to Croatia at the start of June heading to Zagreb and make our way around from there. I'm a big fan of truffles as I work with somebody from Croatia and they bring them back here when they can.

This is really a good place to hang around. It will be a pleasure to have a trip there.
